Turay was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad on September 14. However, he was among the five players inactive for Week 2's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Another defensive lineman, Arik Armstead, remains "questionable" to play in Sunday night's action. He suffered a foot injury in last week's game and has not practiced since then.
