49ers' Christian McCaffrey reaches 500 receptions faster than any RB in NFL history

With his first catch on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey reached 500 receptions over his illustrious career. He has accomplished the feat in 90 games, faster than any other running back in NFL history.

The accomplishment surpasses former Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk, who reached 500 receptions in 112 games during his illustrious Hall of Fame career.

McCaffrey entered the Week 16 contest leading the NFL in rushing yards (1,292), all-purpose yards (1,801), and total touchdowns (20). Although, Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert scored his 21st touchdown of the season on Sunday, temporarily giving him the lead.
