49ers' Christian McCaffrey, wife Olivia Culpo announce major family news

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo, became first-time parents last year. Now, with their daughter Colette nearing her first birthday, the couple has shared more exciting family news.

Culpo announced on social media that Colette is about to become a big sister. Culpo is pregnant with the couple's second child.

"Best birthday gift. Baby #2 coming soon," she wrote.

Last year, McCaffrey opened up about how fatherhood changed his life.

"It's been such a blessing," McCaffrey said. "I've been on cloud nine ever since she was born. It's definitely been special for me—life-changing, that's for sure. I'm grateful for my wife. She does a great job letting me still keep football going and working my butt off. So, it's been great and such a blessing."

The star running back also shared how becoming a father shifted his perspective as he prepared for his ninth NFL season.

"I wouldn't say I'm working harder," McCaffrey said. "I wasn't like not working before, but it definitely just puts things into perspective that you just want to show up and be the best person you can be because you have somebody to be an example for."

McCaffrey delivered a phenomenal 2025 season, totaling 2,126 scrimmage yards and 17 touchdowns while earning NFL Comeback Player of the Year honors.

Congratulations to McCaffrey and Culpo on the latest addition to their growing family.
