The San Francisco 49ers continued their organized team activities (OTAs) this week, with media granted their second and final opportunity to observe practice during Wednesday's session—before the team's mandatory minicamp next week.

As Phase Three of the offseason program nears its conclusion, the 49ers are diligently working toward the upcoming season.

Following next week's mandatory minicamp, the team will take a well-deserved break until training camp begins in late July.

Veteran tackle Trent Williams returned to practice after missing several weeks and participated fully in Wednesday's session.

Additionally, new defensive lineman Bryce Huff made an appearance, sporting jersey No. 47 during practice.

ESPN's Nick Wagoner noted that the following players did not participate in practice:

  • WR Ricky Pearsall, QB Kurtis Rourke, P Thomas Morstead, S Ji'Ayir Brown, WR Brandon Aiyuk, OL Andre Dillard, DL Yetur Gross-Matos, DL Alfred Collins

Wagoner added that the following players were either working on the side or observing practice:

  • DE Nick Bosa, WR Jauan Jennings, S Malik Mustapha, LB Fred Warner, S George Odum, S Marques Sigle, DE Mykel Williams, LB Curtis Robinson

Below are key observations shared on social media from the open practice session.
