Multiple fights occurred during San Francisco 49ers training camp on Tuesday between a host of players, reportedly centered around wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and linebacker Fred Warner.
Wow! Brandon Aiyuk just squared up to fight Fred Warner again and Kyle Shanahan has paused practice. Was ready to throw fists before the dog pile crashed on him

In Round II, Brandon Aiyuk and Fred Warner both squared up, ready to throw hands but that certainly wouldn’t have been great since both had helmets on. Both quickly ended up on the bottom of a scrum as teammates got involved

Warner definitely was the bad guy in Round 2. Put a high hit on WR Marcus Johnson that knocked him down. Warner also is very much interested in ratcheting up the intensity in practices and in doing so increasing the quality https://t.co/nb54JHPnLU

David Lombardi of The Athletic noted that the skirmish surrounding Aiyuk and Warner may not be a coincidence. Last week, the wideout called the 2020 All-Pro linebacker "annoying" and "irritating," whereas Warner said the treatment of the first-round pick was purely motivational.
Aiyuk was selected 25th overall by the Niners in 2020, and he's posted back-to-back five-touchdown seasons. The 24-year-old finished with 56 catches for a career-high 826 receiving yards in 2021 on 84 targets.
Despite missing one game last season, Warner led San Francisco with a career-high 137 tackles, while recording four passes defended and a career-high three fumble recoveries as well.
