The San Francisco 49ers have been ravaged by injuries as of late. The team lost wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk to a torn ACL on Sunday, adding to its missing ranks which includes star running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles tendinitis).
Wide receiver Deebo Samuel left Sunday's game with an unknown ailment as well, turning out to be pneumonia which he was hospitalized for on Monday with fluid in his lungs.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on Samuel's condition on Wednesday, telling reporters the wideout was released from the hospital and is "doing better."

"He got in here yesterday, doing better than you'd expect," Shanahan is quoted as saying. "We'll see how he goes throughout the week."
Shanahan also said Samuel has a chance to play in San Francisco's "Sunday Night Football" game against the Dallas Cowboys but did not expand on how likely that would be.
Quarterback Brock Purdy will need all the offensive help he can get as tight end George Kittle and wideout Jauan Jennings also missed practice Wednesday with injury designations.
The only solace San Francisco's offensive planning can take is that Dallas' defense is ranked 24th overall and 19th against the pass.
Samuel's status will certainly be watched closely leading up to Sunday's primetime contest.
