San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided injury updates via a conference call on Monday, the day after the team's 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Guard Aaron Banks is day-to-day with a mild shoulder strain, avoiding a more serious injury. That's certainly good news for the 49ers' offensive line.
Banks exited Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys at the start of the third quarter, due to a biceps injury. He was listed as "questionable" to return, with Jon Feliciano replacing him in the lineup.
Immediately after the game, Shanahan expressed optimism that the injury was not a season-ending one. However, the 49ers awaited more tests. Those tests produced positive news for the team.
Shanahan added that running back Elijah Mitchell, who has been inactive in the last two games due to a knee injury, is day-to-day.
