San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones will be without a key weapon in today's NFC West showdown against the Arizona Cardinals. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who was listed as questionable, has been ruled out.
Jennings is battling multiple injuries, including an ankle injury sustained in Week 2 and a shoulder injury from Week 1. The 49ers wideout did not participate in practice last week while the team prepared for the Cardinals.
Schefter also reported that quarterback Brock Purdy, who is dealing with a toe injury, will remain sidelined, leaving Adrian Martinez as Jones' backup. San Francisco elevated Martinez from the practice squad on Saturday to provide depth at the position.
