49ers' Mike Evans expected to play vs. Cardinals

Evans suffered a hip injury during the 49ers' Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but returned as a limited participant on Friday.

Evans was the only 49ers player listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals.

Through two games, Evans is tied with wide receiver Deebo Samuel and running back Christian McCaffrey for the team lead with nine receptions. He also leads the 49ers with 103 receiving yards and has one touchdown.

Evans is in his first season with the 49ers after spending his first 12 NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He enters Week 3 with 875 receptions, 13,155 receiving yards, and 109 receiving touchdowns in his career.
