49ers' Nick Bosa offers different take on Eagles this time around

Whatever is behind Bosa's change of heart, some of his teammates have taken note. On a recent episode of his podcast, "The Warner House," 49ers linebacker Fred Warner said he regretted all the trash talk coming from the San Francisco side before and after their meeting with the Eagles in January. 

"I'm kind of over that whole thing. I know some of our players, throughout the offseason, were saying stuff about it," Warner said. "I honestly wish I hadn't. You can sit here and make the excuse about the whole Brock [Purdy] situation, blah, blah, blah. At the end of the day, they beat us. They earned that." 

Meanwhile, others haven't followed the veteran's example. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel recently doubled down on calling Eagles cornerback James Bradberry "trash." 

Mailata has also chimed in, saying the jabs thrown toward him and his Eagles teammates "irks me." However, he sounded motivated and focused, which could mean trouble for the 49ers. 

Furthermore, Mailata said he and the Eagles have learned to keep their emotions in check, especially after winning a Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Regardless of the past and words said, both teams will do their talking on the field Sunday in what should be one of the marque matchups on the Week 13 docket.
