San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested in Ohio over the weekend.

York was arrested in East Palestine, Oh. on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, via WKBN. Court records indicate that he spent a day in jail and posted $5,000 bond. East Palestine police confirmed the arrest, but said any further information would come from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

KRON reported that York was arrested in suspicion of engaging in prostitution. That count was later amended to disorderly conduct, and York subsequently pleaded no contest.

York’s mugshot was also released to the public.

York has served as CEO of the Niners since 2008 and became controlling owner of the franchise in 2024. He is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, which is not too far from East Palestine. He has, ironically enough, had to warn some of his players about avoiding trouble off the field during his tenure, and now finds himself embroiled in some of his own making.
