According to the NFL transaction report, the San Francisco 49ers have reached an injury settlement with veteran running back Patrick Taylor Jr., removing him from the team's injured reserve list.

Taylor was placed on injured reserve on August 20 with an adductor injury. He initially signed with the 49ers on April 8, 2024, and appeared in 13 games during the 2024 season. He rushed for 183 yards and one touchdown on 39 carries while adding three receptions for 25 yards.

The Green Bay Packers originally signed Taylor as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis in 2020. He spent his first three NFL seasons in Green Bay before briefly joining the New England Patriots' practice squad in 2023. Taylor later returned to the Packers before signing with San Francisco.

Over four NFL seasons, Taylor has appeared in 47 games, recording 444 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 104 carries. He has also caught 17 passes for 94 yards.
