The #49ers have signed FA OT Chris Hubbard to a 1-year, $1.375M deal, source said. Added veteran depth.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) May 14, 2024
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Hubbard (6-4, 295) as an undrafted free agent out of UAB in 2013. He made nine starts with the Tennessee Titans last season, playing 90 percent of the offensive snaps, per Pro Football Reference.
As noted by Fowler, Hubbard was placed on injured reserve on November 25, 2023, due to a biceps injury. While primarily a right tackle, he also has experience playing guard and even has limited experience at center.
Hubbard, 33, has appeared in 94 games (58 starts) over his NFL career with the Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Titans.
