49ers Signing LB Eugene Asante

Asante, 25, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn following the 2025 draft. He was among the final roster cuts and signed with Cleveland’s practice squad in October.

The Browns let him go in December, and he ended the year with Arizona’s practice squad. He re-signed with the Cardinals for camp this year and started the year on the practice squad before being let go in October.

Asante has yet to appear in an NFL game.
