The Seahawks selected Brown (5-10, 185) out of Oklahoma in the fourth round (No. 137 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire NFL career in Seattle.
Last season, Brown recorded 26 tackles and one pass defensed in 13 game appearances (three starts) with the Seahawks, playing 34% of the defensive snaps, per Pro Football Reference.
After losing cornerback Charvarius Ward and safety Talanoa Hufanga in free agency, the 49ers have bolstered their secondary by reaching deals with Brown, Richie Grant, and Jason Pinnock.
Over four NFL seasons, Brown, 27, has totaled 74 tackles (two for a loss), one quarterback hit, one sack, eight passes defensed, two interceptions, and one touchdown in 39 game appearances (13 starts).
