Baker (6-1, 202) entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2024, after a college career playing for UCF and Alabama. In New England, he appeared in 11 games with one start as a rookie, recording one catch for 12 yards. The Patriots released the receiver in August.
The Philadelphia Eagles later signed Baker to their practice squad before releasing him on October 14. Notably, Baker was among the prospects who met with the 49ers during the pre-draft process leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft.
San Francisco is coming off its bye week and preparing to host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday as the team begins its push toward the postseason.
