Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are facing each other in Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Niners entered the game in good health, with no significant new injuries entering the matchup.

Below are the 49ers-related in-game injury updates.

LB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles, out)

Dre Greenlaw went down in the second quarter while running onto the field from the sideline. He was carted to the locker room after some work with the training/medical staff.

The 49ers initially announced that Greenlaw is "questionable" to return due to a lower left leg injury. However, they later announced that the linebacker sustained an Achilles injury and has been ruled out of the remainder of the game.

WR Deebo Samuel (left hamstring, questionable, returned)

Deebo Samuel went down in pain during the third quarter. He was eventually able to walk off the field under his own power, and headed to the medical tent for evaluation. He is "questionable" to return due to a left hamstring injury.

Update: Samuel returned to the game.
