49ers to don iconic throwback jerseys against Ravens on Christmas

On Monday night, the San Francisco 49ers are set to unpack their iconic throwback jerseys again for the Christmas matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. These nostalgic uniforms were last showcased in the home game on September 21 against the New York Giants, with the road versions appearing on Thanksgiving night against the Seattle Seahawks.

The highly-anticipated Week 16 clash with the Ravens will unfold at Levi's Stadium, featuring two teams leading their respective conference playoff standings. The victor will likely emerge as the Super Bowl favorite heading into postseason action.

The throwback jerseys pay tribute to the uniforms worn by the 1994 49ers during their memorable Super Bowl run. Interestingly, these jerseys are a modernized rendition of the Niners' uniforms in 1955.

Monday's game marks the final scheduled appearance of the throwback jerseys for the 49ers this season.
