San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne secured more than just an 11-yard reception in the second quarter against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. The catch officially pushed him past 500 receiving yards for the season, triggering a $500,000 performance bonus.

Bourne entered the game just one yard shy of the milestone after narrowly missing it in Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans.
"I know K.B.'s one yard away from his bonus, but the fact that he spun on that screen at the last deal of the game, I said it's on him," Shanahan said last week. "But we should be able to get one more [against the Colts]."
Bourne now has an opportunity to earn an additional $250,000 if he reaches 600 receiving yards this season. After this game against the Colts, he'll have two more games to do so. San Francisco will close out the season by hosting the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks.
The 49ers signed Bourne to a one-year contract in September. It's the receiver's second stint with the team. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with San Francisco in 2017.
