Ambry Thomas limped off the field late in the second quarter after missing a tackle. He looked uncomfortable on the sideline before heading into the medical tent for evaluation. Thomas was later seen being carted to the locker room.

The 49ers later ruled him out for the remainder of the game due to a right forearm injury. After the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed that Thomas broke his forearm and will "miss some time."
