49ers waive safety Tayler Hawkins from IR list

Per the NFL transaction wire, the San Francisco 49ers have waived safety Tayler Hawkins from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement. Hawkins landed on IR on August 29 with a broken hand, an injury sustained in the team's final preseason game.

The 49ers initially signed Hawkins (6-1, 205) as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State in 2022. He spent his rookie season on San Francisco's practice squad.
