4-Round Rams Mock Draft During College Pro Days

Miller is an experienced right tackle who progressed each season at Clemson. He's long, has great size, and is an incredibly functional athlete with excellent pass protection skills and physicality in the run game. He could be the long-term starter at right tackle or, if McClendon puts a stranglehold at that spot, challenge Alaric Jackson down the line.

Round 2, No. 60 overall (via Bears): Ted Hurst, wide receiver, Georgia State Panthers

The Rams need an Alec Pierce-type at wide receiver: someone who can win and stack vertically with the ball-tracking skills and hand-eye coordination to thrive at all three levels of the field. Hurst has that skill set and has wildly impressive fluidity and hip sink to create separation on intermediate concepts on top of being a potential Davante Adams replacement. The Group of Five standout could be one of the steals of this draft class if he lands with Los Angeles.

Round 3, No. 80 overall (via Baltimore Ravens): Oscar Delp, tight end, Georgia Bulldogs

This is a selection that would allow the Rams to gain short- and long-term success at the position. Trading back with the Ravens by 18 spots, Los Angeles gains a fifth-round pick in the move down the draft order.

Delp is a talent who never reached 300 yards in a single season at Georgia, but the film suggests a better pro than collegiate player with quality athleticism, an intriguing pass-catching skill set to win at all three levels, and a base-line blocking toolkit to develop into a stout player in this area, all while establishing the future at tight end for the Rams alongside Terrance Ferguson.

Round 3, No. 93 overall: Kaleb Elarms-Orr, linebacker, TCU Horned Frogs

Omar Speights is an average starting linebacker who needs to have competition for his spot. I thought there were too many moments where he was a liability, but the Rams have shown they could be in the market for a linebacker in the first 100 selections. Elarms-Orr provides the team with great run defense, size, and sound zone coverage ability to garner some playing time early in the season before taking over late as a key piece to a potential championship run.
