2025 Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab Athlete Keylan Moses is nearly ready to make his college decision.

On Wednesday the versatile athlete set a commitment date for his November 30, which is also his birthday.

"I have finally decided to commit on my birthday, NOV 30th, SAVE THE DATE," he wrote on social media.

Moses is rated a four-star (0.9297) recruit according to the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 180 player nationally, the No. 9 athlete and the No. 3 recruit in Louisiana.

He's the younger brother of former Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2021.

The younger Moses stands at 6'2", 210 pounds and has made a name for himself as one of the best linebackers in the country, even moving around to put his hand in the dirt at times.

Heading into his college decision next month, Moses is working from a top eight that includes Oregon, LSU, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee and Notre Dame.

Moses is a well-traveled recruit and took an unofficial visit to Oregon in the summer. He's also been to nearby LSU and Florida numerous times throughout his recruitment and is scheduled to return to Gainesville on November 4 to see that Gators face Arkansas.

Torres' Take

Moses is an intriguing prospect because of the versatility he brings to the table. Baton Rouge and Louisiana as a whole is an area Oregon is really trying to tap into moving forward and it won't be easy, but getting players from the South on campus for visits is a step in the right direction.

As for Moses, I'm told that Florida, LSU and Oregon are the schools that have the best shot right now, with Texas also heavily in the mix. Right now, I'm not expecting Oregon to be the call when he commits, unless they can get him back to Eugene for a visit.

However, even if he does choose another school I wouldn't expect the recruitment to be over as there's still so much time left with the 2025 recruiting class.
