Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders received promising news this week from the authorities in Ohio.

Sanders had an inconsistent rookie year with the Browns, completing 56.6% of his pass attempts for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. When he made his regular-season debut on Nov. 16 against the Baltimore Ravens, there was a break-in at his house.

"I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into, but like, I'm in a mental space now to where, you know, it's not too much can phase me," Sanders said at the time. "And none of my jewelry got took anyway. So by the way, none of jewelry got took."

The Medina County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office provided an update on this high-profile burglary this week. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the break-in at Sanders' residence. There's a warrant out for the fourth suspect's arrest.

"The driver, Jarvet Myrick, was arrested on Nov. 26, while Deandrez Jackson was arrested on Dec. 16 and Maurice Exavier Taylor on Dec. 29 -- Carlos DeAnthony Morris, the fourth suspect, has a warrant out for his arrest," the report from TMZ states.

According to the Medina County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office, approximately $200,000 worth of property was stolen from Sanders' home.

Will Shedeur start for the Browns next season?

After Week 18 came to an end, Sanders discussed his outlook for the 2026 season. He believes he put himself in position to start for the Browns, but he acknowledged that nothing is guaranteed in the NFL.

“I think I did what I was able to do, and I definitely grew from a lot of things, and I got experience now,” Sanders said. “So, I’m always the same, confidence-wise, I’m there. But like, that’s not in my hands. Like, that’s not my decision. I can’t speak on what other people feel."

The quarterback room for the Browns should look a bit different next season, especially now that head coach Kevin Stefanski has been fired. Only time will tell if Sanders is part of the team's long-term plans.
