The Kansas City Chiefs got back to .500 with a statement win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football.
The Chiefs' offense scored on five of seven possessions (not including two drives that consisted of kneel downs), with four of them resulting in touchdowns. After a tough start, Kansas City's defense finished the game by holding the Lions scoreless on six of their final seven possessions.
Let's take a look at our winners and losers for the Chiefs during their big victory over Detroit.
Moore was put into a tough position having to start and play the entire game on late notice as starting left tackle Josh Simmons had to deal with a personal matter in California. He more than answered the bell, excelling in both pass and run blocking throughout the night.
The Chiefs' decision to sign Moore during this past offseason paid off huge in this game. To make matters even more impressive, it was revealed that he had his third child the morning of the game (H/T Harold R. Kuntz). It's safe to say that will be a day Moore will never forget.
What a day for Jaylon Moore .. not only did he find out just this afternoon he was starting .. but he also had his third child this morning! Incredible effort tonight with everything going on in his life. #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/8uVKLQS56E

Mahomes was in Superman mode like he has been for most of the season, completing 73 percent of his passes for 257 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding 32 yards on the ground and one rushing touchdown. He also became the quickest player in NFL history to 300 career TD passes.
Mahomes was particularly great when getting the ball out quickly, completing 14-15 passes for 147 yards and two TDs when getting rid of the ball in under 2.5 seconds. He hit eight different receivers on the night, and recorded an awesome QB rating of 132.2.

Brown has quietly been a steady force in Kansas City's passing attack this season, leading the team in receptions with 30. He made perhaps his biggest impact of the season against Detroit, catching four passes for 45 yards and two touchdowns.
Brown's first score came during the Chiefs' first possession of the second half on a nine-yard reception. That would set the tone for the rest of the game, and keep Kansas City one step up of the Lions. Brown later scored on a short three-yard end-around reception.

Williams was back playing a significant amount of snaps in Week 6, and proved once again that he should be a big part of Kansas City's defense. It didn't necessarily reflect in the stat sheet as he recorded just two tackles, but he often lined up against Lions star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and held his own.
Williams' presence also allows fellow cornerback Trent McDuffie to be more versatile. It's clear that Williams and Jaylen Watson on the outside with McDuffie in the slot is the best lineup for the Chiefs' secondary.
Until late in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs got very little pressure on Lions QB Jared Goff. Kansas City's defensive line has struggled to get to passers for most of the season. Goff carved up the Chiefs' defense early as he had plenty of time to throw.
K.C. did tighten up in the second half, and finally brought Goff down for a sack on the Lions' second-to-last possession of the game. Although they got the win this week, the Chiefs have to find a way to get more out of their guys in the trenches without defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo having to constantly dial up exotic blitzes.
