Netflix has officially dropped all eight episodes of the NFL Receiver show. Detroit Lions' receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was one of the receivers the show followed around all season long. He's a big part of seven of the shows episodes and you get some real access to not only St. Brown's personal life, but also the Lions coaching staff and practices.
We've watched all eight episodes and here were the five big things that stood out to us.
Amon-Ra St. Brown's father is the best part of the entire season. Every time he is on screen he is hilarious. You get to see how he trained his sons, his funny relationship with St. Brown's girlfriend and his love of Coca-Cola. Seriously, if he doesn't get a Coke endorsement after this, it's a big miss.
The big thing that gets pointed out was that he was mad at St. Brown for doing the pump dance against the Chiefs.
It's been talked about already by St. Brown, but this was the first time that we got to see Dan Campbell talk about it and actually see video of the official approaching Campbell to warn him that St. Brown was a pump away from getting flagged. It's still hilarious that this was even a thing that happened in real life.
Blocking might be Campbell's favorite thing in the whole world. There are multiple times on this show where Campbell is getting excited about St. Brown blocking. The best one is when he goes through three different blocks St. Brown had at the end of the Ravens loss and how happy he was that St. Brown was still looking to hit some guys long after the game had been lost.

We got to see St. Brown learn in real time about not getting voted into the Pro Bowl and how mad that made him. He said it made him as mad as the day he got drafted in the fourth-round. There's your fuel for 2024.
We also got to watch him get put on the All-Pro team in real time, Just little stuff like this that you usually don't get access to is fun.
We all know what we never want to catch now and that's hand, foot and mouth disease. We got to get a glimpse of what St. Brown was going through against the Raiders. The pictures alone are scary. Hearing St. Brown's girlfriend talking about what was happening to him during the game was even worse.
