The Cleveland Browns are heading into a crucial season for the current regime after finishing 3-14 last year.
The quarterback position remains the biggest question mark—and the primary reason for last season’s struggles. If the Browns want to turn things around, they must find more consistency under center.
Heading into the season, several players may be entering their final year with the team in 2025. Let’s take a look at a few names who could be playing their last snaps in Cleveland.
The Browns’ longest-tenured player is entering his 12th season with the team in 2025, and it could very well be his last. Bitonio has had a standout career, even though team success has been limited during his time. He has openly considered retirement in each of the past few offseasons and weighed it heavily this spring. It would not be a surprise if Bitonio walks away after this season.

Conklin is entering his 10th NFL season and sixth with the Browns. After missing almost the entire 2023 season, he returned last year and managed to stay mostly healthy. However, with his 31st birthday approaching and the Browns likely looking to reduce spending on the offensive line, Conklin could be a cap casualty in 2026.
Ford restructured his contract to remain with the Browns through the final year of his rookie deal. He provided some explosive plays last season in Nick Chubb’s absence, but his consistency as a runner has been hit or miss. With rookies Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson now in the mix, Ford may be the odd man out in the future. Expect him to be playing elsewhere in 2026.
No Browns player has been featured in more trade speculation than 2021 first-round pick Greg Newsome II. He’s primarily played in the slot the last couple of years but has shown versatility to line up outside as well. Now in the fifth and final year of his rookie deal, Newsome is set to hit free agency next offseason. Cleveland could look to trade him before then or let him walk in 2026.
Harris has been a reliable veteran depth piece for the Browns over the last couple of seasons. However, with young talents like Mike Hall Jr.—who impressed as a rookie—and first-round pick Mason Graham joining Malik Collins on the interior, Harris could be pushed a bit down the depth chart. Expect him to serve as depth for one final season before possibly retiring or playing elsewhere.
