We are nearly a month into the NFL season, and this past weekend was no different from the other weeks in terms of unpredictability. After all, "every given Sunday," right?
Week 4 saw a battle of AFC titans that have struggled to get the ball rolling in 2025 so far between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, a stellar game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys that had a very anticlimactic ending, and some fantasy football owners had a weekend to forget as New York Giants wideout Malik Nabers suffered a torn ACL in the team's 21-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, ending his season early.
Unfortunately, injuries have also plagued some of Texas A&M's professional talent, with Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver and Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike have both been sidelined with hamstring and neck issues, respectively.
For the Aggies that were active in the fourth game of the season, there was no shortage of production, and here are some standouts amongst the Maroon and White from the weekend.
The 2017 no. 1 overall pick was very quiet in the Browns' game against the Detroit Lions and their head coach, Aggie Dan Campbell, with Garrett only responsible for two total tackles and failing to record a sack for the first time in 2025.
The team struggled overall on both sides of the ball, with Browns quarterback Joe Flacco throwing two interceptions and the Cleveland defense unable to contain Detroit's premier receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who caught seven passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns as the Lions took the 34-10 win at Ford Field in Detroit.
Achane and the Dolphins finally snagged their first win in a 27-21 win over the New York Jets, but it ended up costing them their star wide receiver Tyreek Hill in the process, who dislocated his knee and tore his ACL.
Achane took 20 handoffs for 99 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while catching a single pass for two yards.
In Green Bay linebacker Micah Parsons' first game back at AT&T Stadium since being traded from the Dallas Cowboys just one month ago, the former All-American Cooper recorded seven total tackles (five solo) and successfully defended a pass.
Wilson recorded six total tackles (also five solo) as the offensive duel between the two rival teams ended in a disappointing 40-40 tie after overtime, with many taking to social media to call for a change in the NFL's regular season overtime rules.
The Aggie rookie recorded the first multi-tackle game of his professional career with three tackles against the New England Patriots, but New England quarterback Drake Maye's near-perfect day of passing (14/17, 203 yards, two touchdowns) and wideout Stefon Diggs six catches for 101 yards resulted in a massive 42-13 win for the Pats in Foxborough.
