A couple of Falcons stars nursing injuries during OTAs
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons are about a week into offseason training activities, and a couple of their star players are nursing minor injuries. According to D. Orlando Ledbetter, Atlanta was without A.J. Terrell and Bijan Robinson at Tuesday’s practice.

Robinson has been dealing with this ankle issue for a couple of weeks now, but it seems like the Falcons aren’t very concerned. They expect him back for mandatory minicamp. Both seem like minor injuries, which is a good thing.

Terrell and Robinson will be critical pieces for Atlanta this season. The former is an extension candidate, entering the final year of his rookie contract, while the latter is looking to capitalize on a new-look Falcons offense led by Zac Robinson and Kirk Cousins.

Atlanta is expected to get a deal done with Terrell this offseason, and they should make it a priority because if he somehow hits free agency, that would be a very bad thing for the Falcons and their wallets. However, there’s a lot of offseason left, so I won’t be panicking until the end of July.
