A fan found out the hard way just how hard Dallas Cowboys QB Joe Milton III can throw the football

Dallas Cowboys QB Joe Milton III can throw a football very far and very hard, to understate it quite a bit. The former Tennessee Vols signal caller has what's likely the strongest arm in the NFL by a good margin, which has been demonstrated time and again in the college and professional ranks.

Have you ever wondered what it would look like it an average fan tried to catch a football from him? Well, fortunately, social media offers us answers to some questions, and this one falls in that category.

Milton was captured on social media firing a normal pass at a fan, and even the fan, knowing it was coming, was taken aback by the speed and couldn't handle the pace. But it's hard to blame him, as the football looked like a bullet flying towards the fan.

Milton fired a fastball at the request of a fan, and it went as one would expect

Milton dropping back and throwing something a long distance is appointment television, whether that is an orange or a football. Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer even put Milton in the class of the great Brett Favre as far as strongest arms he's seen in person.

"The arm strength at 40, 41, whatever he was, was incredible," Schottenheimer said back around the start of the preseason. "Joe might have him on distance if I’m being honest with you. Joe might be able to throw it farther, but the RPMs are very close."

Milton had an up and down month of August for the Cowboys, but he ended up making the roster as Dak Prescott's primary backup when the team whittled the roster down to 53 players at the end of the preseason.

Cowboys fans would surely like to only see Milton firing missiles at fans on social media and not on national television this season. Although, after videos like this, only the most extreme thrill seekers or those without any real instinct of self-preservation would for a pass from the big-armed QB.
