Terry Bradshaw, "The Blond Bomber," was tossing spirals for the Steelers the last time their offense was this bad.
Pittsburgh, which lost 16-10 to the Dolphins on Sunday, is averaging just 15.3 points and on pace to have the franchise's lowest scoring offense in more 50 years.
The Steelers haven't averaged less than 15.3 points per game since 1970 (15), per StatMuse.com, when Hall of Famer Bradshaw was a rookie.
Pittsburgh media fixture Ed Bouchette, now retired, covered the Steelers for more than 30 years. He thinks this may be the worst Steelers offense he has seen.

Pickett is the only Steelers rookie QB since Bradshaw to throw five or more interceptions in his first four career games, according to NFL Research. Head coach Mike Tomlin isn't hitting the panic button on Pickett yet.
"I thought he was highly competitive. I thought he played to win. I thought he made some plays. Unfortunately, he and we didn't make enough," Tomlin told reporters after the game.
Something must change on offense for Pittsburgh, but Tomlin doesn't think it's as far off as it seems.
When asked if the Steelers are closer to forming an offensive identity, he told reporters, "I feel like we are."

Unless the offense finds a spark, the Steelers could bomb at Philadelphia (6-0) on Sunday, too.
