A new projection emerges of what the Washington Commanders' uniform overhaul will look like in 2026, including 4 different looks

The new "Super Bowl Era" alternate uniforms unveiled by the Washington Commanders earlier this week continue to be a talking point among the fanbase for many reasons. 

Firstly, uniforms are always controversial. You can't please everybody when it comes to the threads a team wears. Factor in the Commanders' name and likeness history and you can pretty quickly find yourself digging a rabbit hole. 

But mostly, people are talking about the uniform more than usual because this isn't expected to be just an alternate in the long run, but part of a uniform overhaul for the Commanders. And recently, Gridiron Uniforms projected what that could look like. 

The account on X posted a full uniform overhaul projection with for four different looks, including the already-revealed alternate and even a black set. 

"Yellow pants and striped socks included, and, against my better judgement, a completely unnecessary black set, but I refuse to use a black helmet," wrote the author of the account and of the website, which "presents graphical representations of every uniform that has been worn in the NFL since 1920."
