Aaron Brewer has Soft Tissue Injury in Right Leg
Miami Dolphins center Aaron Brewer has been unable to practice yet this training camp and has been doing work on the side. It was revealed Friday at Mike McDaniel’s media session that Brewer has a soft tissue injury to his right leg, but McDaniel doesn’t believe it’s serious.
McDaniel believes it may sideline him for a couple of weeks.
Brewer is healthy enough to work on the side in snapping drills with Tua at this time, which is why he wasn’t placed on the PUP list.
Dolphins center Aaron Brewer has a soft tissue issue with his right leg and the only reason Miami didn’t put him on the PUP is so he could work with Tua on the side. But looks like he’ll be sidelined a couple weeks.

Miami signed Brewer last offseason to a 3-year deal worth $21 million.
Brewer will be 28 in October and was undrafted in 2020 by the Titans. He has started 57 of 75 games in his career, including all 17 last year with the Dolphins.
His PFF numbers last year were excellent; he had a 74.8 overall grade at center, ranking him 8th out of 64.
His pass blocking grade was 70.2, ranking him 15th out of 64 centers.
His run blocking grade was 75.8, ranking him 9th out of 64 centers.
Miami is already down their backup center in Liam Eichenberg, and they signed Daniel Brunskill earlier this week to replace him.
Through two days of camp Andrew Meyer has been taking a lot of snaps at center as well.
Brunskill is 31 years old and went undrafted in 2017. He has previously played for the Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers.
He has played in 92 games, starting 66 of them, and he has actually had some snaps in games at offensive tackle as well and offers valuable position flexibility.
In 2023 he played in and started 14 games for the Titans. Last year he started 10 games for the Titans as well.
