Aaron Rodgers has made a bold prediction about his New York Jets.
Rodgers’ Jets entered their “Thursday Night Football” game against the Houston Texans with a 2-6 record and on a five-game losing streak. Despite that, Rodgers told Amazon’s announcing team of Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit that he believes his team will win the rest of their games.
Michaels told viewers that Rodgers had talked with the announcers about the Jets’ schedule and made the argument that the team would run the table. Michaels said that Rodgers’ argument was pretty convincing.
Of course, the Jets then went out and beat the Texans, 21-13, to end their losing streak and improve to 3-6.
After the game, Michaels said that Rodgers “is very convincing. I was sitting there going, ‘Wait a second, they can’t run the table.’ And then he makes you think they can.”
Herbstreit agreed.
“By the time we’re done, we’re like, ‘Hey, he makes a good point,'” Herbstreit said.
"Aaron is very smart...He's a polarizing figure...But he's a very well read guy, very smart and is very convincing. We are sitting there going, 'Wait a second, they can't run the table. And then he makes you think they can."

It’s just one game so far, but the point was made that the Jets only have one game left against a team that currently has a winning record.
Maybe going 11-6 isn’t realistic, but don’t count out the Jets just yet.
