Aaron Rodgers makes stunning revelation after signing with Steelers

When the Pittsburgh Steelers announced they signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers in an X post on Saturday, he appeared to have a wedding ring on his left hand.

In his first news conference in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, the 41-year-old QB confirmed it is a wedding ring and that he has been married for a "few months."

Rodgers has revealed little about his new spouse. On a December 2024 episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," he said he was dating someone named Brittani. The QB hasn't said whether this is the woman he married.

Unlike his marriage, Rodgers' previous relationships were high-profile. He dated actress Olivia Munn from 2014-17 and racecar driver Danica Patrick from 2018-20. He also announced he was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley in February 2021, but the couple split the following year.

Perhaps the Steelers knew about Rodgers' marriage, which is why they were willing to wait to sign him until the start of OTAs.

Regardless, the Steelers need Rodgers to recapture his elite form this upcoming season. Last season, Pittsburgh went 10-7 but lost to the Baltimore Ravens, 28-14, in the AFC wild-card round. The team hasn't won a playoff game since the 2016 season.

Rodgers hasn't looked like a four-time MVP since tearing his left Achilles tendon during Week 1 of the 2023 season. In 17 starts for the New York Jets last season, he went 5-12, posting a below-average 48 QBR. He also tossed 11 interceptions, tied for the third most in his career.

But perhaps tying the knot will reinvigorate Rodgers and help him rebound.
