Aaron Rodgers News Announced After 21 NFL Seasons

Amid his lengthy football career, Rodgers has also stayed busy off the field. In April 2018, the former California quarterback became a minority owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, purchasing a 1% stake in the NBA franchise. He has also made moves in real estate, expanding his portfolio with luxury properties in Malibu, Montclair, New Jersey, Wisconsin and several other locations.

Rodgers also co-founded RX3 Growth Partners, formerly Rx3 Ventures, in 2018. And four years later, the equity firm began its charitable support by establishing the RX3 Foundation, which aims to "activate and amplify the RX3 community’s generosity, through experience-driven events that unite talent, partners, and supporters around meaningful charitable causes."

On Saturday, the RX3 Foundation hosted its fifth annual RX3 Charity Flag Football Tournament at Saddleback College Stadium in Mission Viejo, California. And sure enough, with Rodgers having a big role with the foundation, the Steelers quarterback decided to take the field for the charitable exhibition.

Rodgers was not the only NFL star to take part in Saturday’s flag football game. Joining him in California were Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young and Rodgers’ backup, Will Howard, among others.

Despite free agency being well underway, Rodgers has yet to decide whether to retire or return for a 22nd NFL season. However, with his former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy now leading the Steelers, Rodgers could be leaning toward a return.
