Aaron Rodgers proves he was embracing the vacation spirit during pivotal play versus Vikings in Ireland

Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers went into Ireland with the mindset that it was a business trip . Heading into their bye, beating the Minnesota Vikings and finishing the first month of the season at 3-1 was priority number one.

But that doesn't mean there isn't fun to be had on the football field. And maybe it was the luck of the Irish or the green roots of the Pittsburgh Steelers brass, but Aaron Rodgers seemed to have an extra pep in his step, as he enjoyed every bit of that game against the Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers looks like he's having a ton of fun in Pittsburgh

"Plenty of people will say body language or demeanor aren’t that important in the NFL. That’s just not the case, though. When a team/player is having fun, they often perform better or find ways to impact their teammates so they can be in better spots to make plays."

"For Aaron Rodgers, I’ve seen a lot more positive reactions and behavior from him since joining the Steelers. That was on display most often in Ireland against the Vikings. The team’s mock tush push with the tight end had him laughing and enjoying the score with his teammates, and touchdown run by Kenneth Gainwell in the second half was followed by a cool moment between Rodgers and WR DK Metcalf. I also noticed that Rodgers was willing to block for a playmaker reversing field during the team’s win, and that didn’t come around quite as often during his stint with the Jets."

"Overall, it just seems like the QB more comfortable and pushing the good vibes in a better direction for a team that has plenty of unproven pieces around him. You can’t measure vibes, but Rodgers looks a bit different this year for the Steelers." - Adam Holt, A to Z Sports NFL

I think it's important to gauge what people not within the realm of Steelers football are seeing. It's clear to many Steelers fans that Rodgers is having a blast, but you can tell that much of the national media still covers Rodgers with a negative stigma.

He even called out ESPN for it after the game in regards to his comments about Ireland.

“ESPN wrote a clickbait headline taking my words out of context, which isn't the first time," said Rodgers after the game. "My desire all three times my teams came overseas was to come early in the week, especially if you have a bye week afterwards. Some of that is out of control of the teams, some of it might be, but I would always love to get on a time zone you're in and get to enjoy the area a little bit more.”

I'd say Rodgers enjoyed it plenty on Sunday.
