Aaron Rodgers provides update on standoff with Packers: I'll 'figure things out in a couple weeks'

Aaron Rodgers has provided little information about what has been a turbulent offseason for the Green Bay Packers quarterback. However, the reigning MVP provided a timetable on Saturday.

While competing at the American Century Championship (a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada), Rodgers said he plans to "get back to working out and figure things out in a couple weeks."

Rodgers' comments come after it was reported his situation was not expected to be resolved until at least training camp, which gets underway later this month.

The disgruntled quarterback reportedly doesn't want to return to Green Bay for the 2021 campaign unless general manager Brian Gutekunst is fired. However, the Packers maintain they will not trade him.

If Rodgers continues to hold out and the Packers give in, the Denver Broncos are reportedly expected to be heavily interested in the veteran signal-caller as they are still monitoring his situation.
