Aaron Rodgers put on blast by anonymous NFL executives

Following a disheartening 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday at FedEx Field, the Green Bay Packers fell to 3-4 and they’re off to the franchise’s worst seven-game start since 2006.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ seeming inability to make lemonade out of lemons like he traditionally has with a lesser supporting cast in the past has prompted some NFL executives to question whether the Packers should have cut ties with the three-time league MVP during the offseason.

“They created a monster,” an anonymous general manager recently told Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post. “He’s got a voice in personnel now, or at least he thinks he does. The knives are about to come out there. That could get really ugly. They should have traded him when they had the chance, and they’re stuck with him now, whether he really wants to be there or not. [And this is] after everything they’ve gone through since they took Jordan Love, and that was when they were winning 13 games a year and he was playing like an MVP. They are in serious s--- now.”
