Aaron Rodgers shares his wild Super Bowl conspiracy theory

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never been one to shy away from his beliefs about a wide range of topics like COVID and big pharma, regardless of how out there they might be.

But the latest conspiracy theory Rodgers is pedaling involves the Super Bowl, and specifically how the NFL knows which teams will play in the game before it even happens.

“If the Super Bowl is Baltimore and San Francisco, then I tell you what, that Super Bowl LIX emblem better have Jet green on it,” Rodgers said during a Tuesday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Rodgers, of course, is referring to the colors used in the logos of the last two Super Bowls featuring green, red, orange and yellow color schemes, suggesting the league knew that the Eagles and Chiefs would be playing in SB LVII and the Bengals and Rams would be playing in SB LVI ahead of time, playing into the running joke that the NFL is scripted.

“Look at the colors,” Rodgers continued. “… They’ve known. [Super Bowl] LIX better be Jet Green, that’s all I’m saying.”

This year’s Super Bowl logo features a purple and red color scheme, which are the primary colors of the Ravens and 49ers — the two favorites to represent the AFC and NFC, respectively, in Super Bowl LVII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Baltimore (13-3) clinched the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage in the AFC, while San Francisco (12-4) has done the same in the NFC.
