Aaron Rodgers takes the high road when asked to respond to recent comments from Steelers Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw

Earlier this offseason, legendary Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw didn’t mince words when it came to Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.

Going as far as to say he would ruin the team and telling Rodgers to stay in California and chew on bark, it was an animated response to say the least.

Well, Aaron Rodgers has responded…

Aaron Rodgers responds to Terry Bradshaw

"Terry's a legend. He's an absolute legend. He won four Super Bowls. He's had a legendary career in the media, but Terry, like a lot of people, doesn't know me,” Rodgers told Kyle Brandt in their sit-down interview. “So, he's got an idea of what he thinks about me based on what I've done, the documentary, what I've said, darkness retreat, whatever the hell you want to talk about. . .

“ . . . I'd love to get to know Terry on a deeper level and I feel like if he gave me a chance to get to know him then we'd have a good friendship because for me I have nothing but the utmost amount of respect and deference for what the greats have done because they laid the foundation for us to be able to play in this great game. Maybe we can go chew some bark or whatever the hell he's talking about together.”

Look, Aaron Rodgers is one of the most unique quarterbacks we have ever seen in this league. Traditionally, when you think of the greats like Brady, Elway, Marino, etc, those guys are all ball, all the time.

That’s not Rodgers. I mean this offseason we saw him enjoying himself with walks on the beach, golf outings, and his annual trip to the Kentucky Derby, with all of his "weird" habits and activities in between.

But you know what you haven't heard through one week of Steelers camp? A bad word about Aaron Rodgers. It's been the opposite. Everyone has had glowing reviews regarding the leadership and buy-in from Rodgers.

So in the end, who cares what he does in his free time? Because if he wins, nothing else matters.
