Aaron Rodgers Targeted by NFL Expert in Critical Review

Amid a rather disappointing season with the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers received a scathing review from one of his top critics, Skip Bayless.

The former FOX Sports host didn't hold back in criticizing the 41-year-old quarterback, who has put up pedestrian numbers this 2024 season despite being healthy.

Through 12 games, Rodgers has tallied 2,627 yards and 19 touchdowns on 62.5 percent pass completion, all while registering eight interceptions. In the last three games with the Jets, though, he has failed to breach the 200-yard mark despite having weapons such as Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams.

The Jets are 3-9 on the season and have lost their last three games, further sliding away from the playoffs.

Bayless took notice of Rodgers' performance and recent struggles and brought it up on social media, calling the four-time NFL MVP "washed."

"How is it Aaron Rodgers, throwing to Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson, has thrown for under 200 yards for 3 straight games, and yesterday was only 2 of 14 on passes of 10+ yards as the team fell to 3-9?" Bayless asked rhetorically.

"Because, at 41, he's washed."

That's certainly harsh criticism from Skip Bayless, though it's not surprising given his history of blasting the one-time Super Bowl champion.

Unfortunately for Aaron Rodgers, he has given Bayless some material to throw against him, especially amid the Jets' struggles. When Rodgers arrived in New York in 2023, there were high hopes he would be the one to end the team's decade-long playoff drought.

Until Rodgers shows he can lead the Jets to the promised land, Bayless is unlikely to stop with his criticisms.
