There are as many stories about the Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers relationship. While Rodgers was a backup to Favre in Green Bay for three years (2005-2007), many authors have painted the day-to-day interactions as strained at best and borderline high school hijinks at worst.

Rodgers etched his name deeper into NFL history, connecting with DK Metcalf for a nine-yard touchdown pass that tied him with his former Green Bay Packers teammate, Favre, at 508 career touchdown passes.

The moment came with 1:09 remaining in the first half of Pittsburgh’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.. Rodgers, now wearing the black and gold of the Steelers, had been chasing this milestone since throwing four touchdown passes in Week 1’s thrilling 34-32 victory over his former team, the New York Jets.
