Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to bounce back in 2025 following their Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in February.
On Wednesday night, the Chiefs released their 2025 NFL regular-season schedule. The Kansas City squad will matchup against the Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills all before their Week 10 bye.
The Chiefs' AFC West opponents — the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos — are each trending up heading into the 2025 season.
Adam Schefter believes the Chiefs are in for a tough run in 2025. The ESPN NFL insider predicts the team will go 11-6 as they play through the "toughest division" in football.
Schefter has the Chiefs losing to the Eagles, Ravens, Commanders, Bills, Texans and Broncos.
"This may just be the single toughest division and the most division challenges that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have faced since he started as the Chiefs' starting quarterback," Schefter said on Thursday. "... I see huge division challenges all across the board for the Chiefs — making it difficult for them to finish in the type of spot with as many wins as they normally do."

Last year, Mahomes and the Chiefs finished their regular-season schedule with a 15-2 record. Kansas City went 5-1 in the AFC West, with its only division loss coming to the Broncos in Week 18 — a game in which Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs' starters sat in preparation for the postseason.
The last time the Chiefs went 11-6 in the regular season was 2023, before ultimately notching a Super Bowl LIV win over the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chiefs will begin their 2025 NFL season with a home matchup against the Chargers on Sep. 5.
