The Baltimore Ravens’ 2025 schedule has officially been released, and the consensus is already forming: it’s a gauntlet. With nine games against playoff teams from last year and a brutal early stretch that includes the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, and Houston Texans in the first five weeks, Baltimore’s path to a repeat division crown is anything but easy.
But don’t tell that to Moe Moton. In a recent prediction piece for Bleacher Report, Moton didn’t flinch when picking the Ravens to finish the season 13-4—and to take the AFC North title for a third straight year. For reference, that prediction would be historic. No team in the division has ever three-peated. Ever.
That’s the kind of projection that requires more than blind optimism. And according to Moton, the logic is simple: “Barring injuries, the Baltimore Ravens will head into the 2025 season with one of the league’s most complete rosters.” No complaints there.
However, that optimism will be tested early—especially in the secondary. Ar’Darius Washington is expected to miss the entire season after suffering a torn Achilles during conditioning drills, making Malaki Starks’ first-round selection all the more important. Fortunately, Starks looks poised to take the reins from Day 1 and help anchor what’s expected to be a dominant defensive unit.
Moton’s summary hits the core of what makes the Ravens so dangerous. They return an MVP-caliber quarterback in Lamar Jackson, added DeAndre Hopkins to an already explosive offense, retained key offensive linemen, and field a defense that ranked top 10 in scoring last year.
Recently extended Derrick Henry gives them a cold-weather hammer, and the presence of stars like Kyle Hamilton, Zay Flowers, Nnamdi Madubuike, and Roquan Smith gives them game-changers all over the field.
And yet, 13 wins still feels bold given how the schedule unfolds.
Baltimore is favored in 15 of 17 matchups according to early betting lines, but that doesn’t mean 13 wins is easy money. The three-game road trip after the bye (at Miami, at Minnesota, at Cleveland) could prove to be a slog. The final two weeks—at Green Bay and at Pittsburgh—will be incredibly tough. And if they stumble early, there's little room to make up for it on the backend like they did last year.
Still, Moton sees a team built to weather the storm: “The Ravens will play nine games against teams that made the playoffs last year,” he writes. “With their stacked roster, they’re built to win most of those contests.”
If he’s right, and Baltimore does go 13-4, history could be made. Not only would the Ravens take the AFC North for a third consecutive season—something no other team in the division has ever done—but they’d also head into January with a legitimate shot to secure home-field advantage.
The Ravens’ 2025 season is loaded with trap games, revenge opportunities, and heavyweight matchups. But if their roster stays healthy, and Lamar plays like Lamar, Moton’s 13-4 prediction might not be overly ambitious at all. This team is uber-talented, but it's time to put it all together.
