Jaguars HC Liam Coen said the team won’t change its game plan or make any dramatic changes as Travis Hunter continues to perform strongly on defense.
“Just keep chomping away at it. We’re not going to over rotate to a good game. We want to continue to build. There’s a lot of games left in the season,” Coen said, via Jaguars Wire. “We want to make sure that we’re continuing to build on the right trajectory that gives us the best chance to win on Sundays. We’ve won a lot of games with him maybe not playing 100 snaps. And last week, you saw his impact and effect on games where he is playing more. It’s about the team. It’s about the group. He’s no different. And he’s going to continue to help us win on Sundays.”
Jaguars HC Liam Coen is confident WR Brian Thomas Jr. can still contribute, despite his role seemingly dwindling week to week.
“I mean, look, every week is different and I think that’s what’s kind of special about this group is that, hey, every week you gotta get new people stepping up and making plays, and he’s no different,” Coen said, via Jags Wire. “He’s going to be able to help us make plays this week. I’d bet it, I know it. We’re going to continue to support him and put our arm around him and continue to do what we gotta do to make plays on Sundays and we gotta continue to put him in the best position to do so. BT works at it, he cares about this, he cares about winning and losing, cares about his team. We all want to see guys have success individually, but I’m excited about attacking this week with BT.”
