AI gives Raiders fans unsettling glimpse into Ashton Jeanty’s career

Ashton Jeanty has the potential to break some long-standing franchise records with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Currently, the all-time rushing records for the Raiders are dominated by franchise legend Marcus Allen. Playing 11 seasons with the then-Los Angeles Raiders from 1982-92, Allen holds the records for rushing yards (8.545) and touchdowns (79). However, despite the successful run, Allen ended up joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 1993, with a rift between himself and team owner Al Davis being the primary catalyst for the move.

Jeanty is the biggest threat that Allen’s records have had for a long time, but a recent prediction on the sixth overall pick’s career is certain to leaves Raiders fans with some serious concerns.

AI predicts Jeanty has far too similar of a career to Allen than Raiders fans would like.

According to an AI simulation of Jeanty’s career provided by BetMGM, Jeanty’s projected ten-year career produces some eye-popping numbers, but the teams he ends up playing for is bound to draw some red flags.

After Jeanty’s rookie contract expires, AI predicts that he will head to the Chiefs, much like Allen did over 30 years ago. He then finishes his career with a homecoming, returning to Texas to play with the Dallas Cowboys.

All in all, Jeanty is expected to enjoy great success in the NFL.

This simulations sees Jeanty end his career with 12,500 rushing yards and 90 rushing touchdowns, both numbers which would place him among the top-15 running backs of all time. Jeanty is also projected to win several awards during his career, including Offensive Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and one Super Bowl ring. However, the concerning part for Raiders fans is it does not say which team Jeanty wins the Super Bowl with, so that could be another twist of the knife if he wins elsewhere.

AI predictions should generally be taken with more than a few grains of salt, but seeing Jeanty enjoy a career similar to Allen is sure to give Raiders fans a fair share of dreams and nightmares.
