As the Detroit Lions have become a good team, individuals have gotten attention and become endorsers on a national scale.

Head coach Dan Campbell has taken a star turn in Applebee's ads.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is featured in Little Caesar's Pizza ads (shoutout to a Detroit-based company).

And of course, we know about defensive end Aidan Hutchinson's State Farm Insurance ads.

With Halloween coming in October, there will be lots of kids all over Michigan out trick-or-treating while wearing Hutchinson jerseys (if not a full Hutchinson Lions "uniform") and his patented half-face eye black. There has to be a potential branding opportunity there.

This week, it has been revealed Hutchinson is taking his off-field endorsement presence into a new area.

According to Edward Pevos of MLive, Hutchinson is part of a new underwear campaign for Hanes.

The "Never Uncomfortable" campaign will air during "Thursday Night Football" on Amazon Prime. In a couple clips that are out there already, Hutchinson is shown recalling uncomfortable situations but managing to stay relaxed in his Hanes products.

Hutchinson did an exclusive interview with People as his Hanes ad campaign gets going. He acknowledged how he didn't have to do anything special to be in shape for the ads, which suggests they were filmed fairly recently.

"I was already in shape because of practice,” Hutchinson said. “Whatever I look like was what was going to come out on camera. But I am that guy who loses a lot of weight easily because of the physical and mental stress of playing, so I make it a priority to smash as much food as I can. Which is fun.”

Hutchinson also talked about the opportunity to work with Hanes.

"I was like, wow, I actually get to be someone who gets to be in one of these iconic commercials. Hanes is like that top dog brand, and they haven't worked with athletes in a while, so to get to be the first athlete partnership in a while is pretty cool.

Due to the nature of Hanes products, and as revealed by some still photos in the People article, Hutchinson knows what he's likely in for with his teammates once they see the ads.

"I'm sure they'll be happy for me," he said. "But they'll probably also bust my balls. I'll get a little bit of both."
