A.J. Brown avoids scary incident while participating in Eagles bike race

Wide receiver A.J. Brown avoided potentially serious injuries on Saturday after a car failed to stop at a stop sign while Brown was participating in the Eagles Autism Challenge bike race.

He caught the incident while streaming the ride on Instagram Live.

Brown took the incident in stride, hopping on social media to tell his followers he was fine.

He even had a theory on who was responsible for his close call.

Philly's division rivals—the Dallas Cowboys—have a star as their logo, which Brown jokingly suggested he saw on the driver's license plate.

Saturday's scare was the result of a careless driver but in a few months, it will be the Cowboys trying to knock Brown off his path.

Brown joined the Eagles in a trade last offseason with the Titans and paid immediate dividends. He had career highs in receptions (88), yards (1,496) and tied a career-high in touchdowns (11) as Philadelphia won the NFC and reached Super Bowl LVII. In the Eagles' 38-35 loss to the Chiefs, Brown had six receptions, 96 yards and a touchdown.

He had 11 receptions, 170 yards and a touchdown in two games against Dallas last season.

He was in prime form all year and is staying in shape this off-season.

If cycling wasn't enough cardio, nearly getting run over should get his heart racing. Plus, if he can dodge traffic, he can probably dodge a tackle.

Brown proved on Saturday what multiple NFL defenders already know. Try as they might, Brown isn't going down easy.
