A.J. Brown lost seven pounds due to illness before Packers game

A.J. Brown played a big role in helping the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night football.

He apparently did so despite the fact that he was terribly sick in the lead-up to the game.

James Palmer of the NFL Network reported that Brown was so sick this past week that he actually lost seven pounds. The wideout also played with a busted blood vessel in his eye. He got that from throwing up.

Brown had a pretty good game for the Eagles and did his part downfield, making it hard for the Packers to focus on Jalen Hurts and stopping the run. To that point, the Eagles rushed for 363 yards as a team. Hurts had 157 of those yards while Miles Sanders had 143 and two touchdowns on the ground.

For his part, Brown caught four of the six passes sent his way for 46 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 11.5 yards per catch with a long of 23.

Again, that's a nice game, but considering the information above, Brown's play on Sunday Night Football was truly herculean.
